POLOFELLOWCRAFT NEWS
On Saturday November 19th, 2011, I received word that RW Peter J Pfeiffer laid down the working tools to join our Celestial Lodge. RW Pete was a Past Master of Potunk, a Past Grand Sword Bearer, Vice Chairman of the Masonic Brotherhood Fund, Admission Counselor for the Masonic Home, Dedicated Service Award recipient and many other things to many other concordant bodies, but to me he was a friend, mentor and teacher. He and his Brother Richard “El Grande”, taught us how to successfully maintain our Lodge and enjoy the Craft at the same time. The Pfeiffer and Rumph “boys”, both past and present, led the way for those who followed. Our sincere condolences go out to the entire Pfeiffer Family and we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
W:. Richard Lillie’s father in law James Cooper a member of Hiram
Lodge #6 of Altoona PA was also called to the Celestial Lodge in
November, our members performed Masonic Services for the family on
November 28 and our condolences to them also.
On a happy note, our newest Brother Victor Passarella and his wife
welcomed a new son into their family in October. Both Mother and son
are doing fine. Dad is OK just a little tired.
Our collation room has been going through a couple of changes
lately, the floor was waxed and buffed and looks good. During the
holiday week the room will be painted.
I would like to thank those of you who graciously donated to the
costs of having this done. The place will look great and it makes it
much more attractive to the prospective renters.
