Potunk Lodge # 1071

Brethren,

It has been a busy year so far and it seems it will get busier yet.  First I want to congratulate our newest Master Mason and member of Potunk Lodge, Victor Passarella.

I was hoping to do something a bit different this year with our annual holiday party. But as often happens other commitments get in the way sometimes and it was not meant to be this year. So as it is, out annual holiday party will be held before our last communication on December 15th. The festivities will begin at 6:30 PM and we’ll have a special visitor at 7:30. Make sure you bring a small gift (wrapped and labeled) of no more than $25 for any kids who will be attending.

Some other items coming up will be the report and resolutions of the By-Laws committee. I am hoping that many of you who are present for the meetings when these proposed changes are read see the wisdom in them and we can get on with enjoying Masonry and operating the Lodge without fear of how to fund it.

We are considering March to run out annual Masonic Jeopardy Night. Please do spread the word and let see if any other Lodge will challenge Potunk’s combined brain trust (said tongue in cheek). I am sure we can come up with some sort of trophy or prize to give to a worthy challenger (or keep it for ourselves..hint hint) as a source of pride.
